The solar controller is suitable for all 3-HE solar moduls. With 2 modules, each with 30 watts, a kayak can be driven at paddling speed when the sun is shining. It makes sense to use a rear and a front module. The bow solar panel is then connected directly to the solar controller via the long solar Y cable and the stern solar panel via the solar Y cable junction box.
The solar controller is installed in a compact housing and can be attached to the ship´s side with Velcro, for example. The ideal solution for retrofitting 3-HE variant batteries.
The solar power from the solar controller is fed directly into variant 1 via the battery feed line via the standard or reinforced charging socket or into a 3 HE battery box Bug (optional extra).
